Research on advertising for small Etsy sellers

So, I'm surfing the net this morning and I stumble across Neat Things post on an Etsy forum thread. She posted a link to her blog about a small personal study she's done on advertising. The results, though limited, are quite interesting. I have to say that I agree with her. I haven't completed a study, per se, but I have been monitoring my traffic vs sales.
